Course objectives
The goal of the course is to familiarize the student with the defintion of the balance of payments and the theory of the determination of the current account, the workings of the foreign exchange market, the determination of the macroeconomic equilibrium in an open economy under different exchange rate regimes and the features of monetary unions with reference to the Euro case.- Oggetto:
