How to apply
The online application procedure is mandatory.
International students: students holding a degree from a non Italian university, regardless of their citizenship, can apply through the unique on-line form, which is centralized for the University of Torino.
Application deadlines for students holding a foreign qualification can be found at UniTo website.
Domestic Students: students holding or about to obtain a degree from an Italian university (typically a Laurea Triennale) can apply for admission through the following online form.
Applications open on March 1st and close on September 30th, every year, for students holding Italian qualifications.
Steps for application
The main steps of the application procedure are reported below.
Step 1. Candidates submit their online application form (see links above) together with the following required documents (in a compressed folder):
- academic transcript, including achieved grades;
- personal statement;
- English proficiency certificate;
- copy of your valid identification document in PNG, JPEG or PDF format.
We advise to submit early the application form, even before obtaining the undergraduate degree. This allows you to early know the outcome of the admission process, and prepare yourself for the interview (see step 2), if needed.
Consult the admission requirements to be admitted to the Master Programme.
After the online submission of the application form, the system will send you an acknowledgement of receipt by e-mail, indicating also the reference number of your application (the reference number corresponds to the number of the attached file you receive).
Step 2. A committee examines each application, with three possible responses:
- admission, i.e. the student can enrol after graduation;
- interview on given subjects;
For students with an Italian qualification the results will be posted on the "Admissions Decisions" page within three weeks from the date of their application; whereas for students with a foreign qualification the decision will be notified by the centralized system.
Step 3. If required, the interview takes place. Students living abroad may ask for an interview via VOIP (Skype) on the application form. The informations about how to prepare for the interview is at the page "Admission Requirements".
Step 4. If all requirements are met, the students can enrol. Enrolment is open from the last week of August until December 20th. See the following websites for enrolment instructions:
